A “business shower”, is a term that borrows from the term baby shower but instead refers to a new business garnered attention. Women celebrate their little milestones of life such as engagement parties, weddings and baby showers but now is time to see some other reasons to celebrate like women starting up their own business and their career.
So why not include a business shower to celebrate as well. When a friend starts a business, everyone comes together to congratulate and bring resources for their business. People can not only celebrate this new beginning but also can support them in some way.
It is an idea of celebrating career milestone; business shower can take place in person and virtually as well. The idea of business shower is new to people but is such a good way to actually help and do something for yourself as well as others. It is a fun way to celebrate and support a friend.
Since I first learned about this concept of celebrating a Business shower, I've wanted to throw a business shower for all the noob entrepreneurs. Due to the Pandemic, however, I was unable to throw one in person. I came up with the idea of throwing a virtual business shower.
so i called by business showers the Start Up Junction which provide a platform for all the new artist who has a business online or want to have one.
The event is a 3 day event organised on the weekend of international artist day that is 15th, 16th and 17th of April 2021.
The first day will be a ice breaking session for the noob entrepreneurs who will introduce themselves and present and talk about their business to the audience. The second day will be a seminar kind of live session where the already famous existing artist can share their stories it can be ted talk. The 3rd day and final day will be a closing ceremony which includes a webinar or a online meeting which will be a live event and people can discuss how such event be beneficial and create community unknowingly. Also the event have a pre event contest where the artist can send recorded videos about there business and we can select few which will be sponsored by the Social affairs only.
