Cartoons are essential part of every child, being an entertainment for kids. cartoon become a learning experience for little minds, with help of cartoon kids learn about the world around them and also get introduced to new notions and things and it directly effect their behavior.
And if we talk about the golden the age of cartoon, and 90s kids are well aware, growing up as 90s kids, may be we didn't had much technologies but we watch some epic cartoon shows which are nothing on comparisons to todays novel cartoons.
If you recall we had so many cartoons to talk about, cartoon history would be incomplete if don't mention Duck Tales, the really comic cartoon show can be define by duck tales and it will be injustice we you don't remember - Bubbles, Buttercup and Blossom, the awesome Powder-puff girls who actually were the first one to teach us feminism. The girl bees were fierce warriors who knew how to handle situations. The list is long so here are some more cartoon of 90s which were really nice and gave good messages.
1. Johnny bravo: Our own muscular men Johnny was the best example of the failed relationship, it was the first adult humor pop culture which ruled the hearts of 90s kids.
2. Recess: I think recess was the best school drama, which we watched as a kid. the show was much ahead of its time, the show focused on the 6 students who forms there own society and complete with the teachers and classmate.
3.The Scooby-Doo show: I am sure every one of us wanted to become detective and problem solvers after watching Scooby Doo. the Show need no Introduction. the show changed the perspective of kids. it not only motivated kids to uncover the unknown but taught kids to multi task.
There are many more shows which ruled our hearts like Looney tunes, the epic Tom & jerry,
Popeye the sailor man, The Addams Family, Pokemon, Spongebob Squarepants, Aladdin, Winnie the pooh and many more. This Cartoon Not only made the 90s kids life entertaining but established a standard for the coming time and this the reason we call it the Golden Era.
But when we talk about todays Novel cartoon and its effect of kids, the future looks in the hole. the cartoon shows like Hagimaru, Shinchan, chota bheem, Oggy and many more has not as such message and value in it.
if we see this novel cartoon shows, they are not only failing in sending positive message to kids but their entertainment quotients too is at ponderable conditions . The shows are only making kids aggressive. The stubbornness of Shin Chan and his characters are effecting the kids negatively.
Stupid situations like the marriage of chota Bheem is vanishing the innocence's of kids they are talking like adults.
The present cartoon shows are knowingly or unknowingly snatching the childhood of kids. The essence of comedy, entertainment are long gone in this shows.
I totally believe todays cartoon markers and strategist need to pull-up their socks because the way this media form is going it has a very negative effect of upcoming generation, which may lead to downfall of emotions and sensibility.
